THE PROGRAMME FOR MAY 24th 2008
The evening will commence with a parachute display by the world famous "Red Devils" and by the traditional Beating Retreat by the Military Band.
Following an interval to allow people to enjoy a "Picnic on the Green" or to meet their friends at "The Swan on the Green" (a public house supplied by our nearby village), the Concert Band will perform "on stage" a programme of music from the "Big Band Era".

19.00: Parachute Regiment Band Beat Retreat and Army Air Corps Fly Past
After a suitable interlude for picnics on the Green and bar refreshments from Swan on the Green,
the Concert Band of the Parachute Regiment will perform on the stage "big band music" and "music from the shows"
In 2007 the Band played for our first "Music on the Green". 
This event was so successful and attracted so much enthusiasm that we are thrilled with the news that the Band are happy to return in 2008 for another memorable evening.
