Youth activities is an initiative started by the Grafton Parish Council to provide a community forum for young people at secondary school or in further education who live in the Parish and its surrounds. It’s an opportunity for young people to meet with others in the community, have fun, learn and experience together. The youth group meets in the Coronation Hall for activities, for example, chocolate making, cooking for parents, self-defence training, film nights, tie-dye T-shirts and lots of different crafts. In addition, the group goes on trips, for example, go karting at Thruxton, paddle boarding, archery, ghost walks, kayaking, ice skating, trampolining and many others!

At times young people volunteer and support broader community activities, for example decorating cakes for the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations and making mince pies for Christmas Carols on the Green.
The youth activities enterprise helped raise funds towards the skate ramp on the playing field and continues to fund raise towards additional facilities in the playing field adjacent to Sunflowers at Grafton.
